Mount Rushmore:
Next destination: Yellowstone (which I had never been)
We were planning on staying the night near mount Rushmore but Bradley and his dad had an idea to just keep driving through out the night and we could be at the gate of Yellowstone in the morning. So that's exactly what they did, they drove and me and the kids slept in the back. Which was kind of nice.
We got there at 7 am and didn't even have to pay. I'm guessing because we got there so early? Within the first 20 minutes into Yellowstone we saw a grizzly bear. I didn't get a picture though, because I was in the front and the camera was in the back.
But anyways here are some pictures of our adventures at Yellowstone.
Bradley was trying to get as close to the buffalo as he could. After a while the buffalo started snorting so we decided to leave him alone.
Waiting for old faithful...
and there she goes
Sadie's Birthday:
We finally got to Idaho and the next day (Sunday the 14Th) was Sadie's 2ND birthday. We celebrated it with Bradley's family and had a BBQ.
Just a few things about Sadie that I want to remember before I post pictures
*She loves ears! This is Sadie's happy place. Whoevers lap she is sitting on, she will find their ears. She will sometimes roll her eyes back in her head while she is playing with my ears. I know so weird.
*She is so cuddly. She loves giving hugs and kisses and if I would let her she would cuddle with me all day.
*talks more and more everyday. If I ask her to say something she tries to say it usually.
*She has a bit of a temper. If me, Bradley, or Payson makes her mad she will try to either squeeze whatever she can get a hold of on our body, pinch, or has been known to bite before. She can also take Payson down if she is really mad.
*Has some pretty interesting faces. I never new a little girl at age 2 could roll her eyes at you, give a stuck up look and put her head in the air, give the meanest look ever, and also give the sweetest smile too. She has many more faces I can't describe.*Loves to read
*Loves nursery. From the first day she went she was hooked.
*Loves to eat dirt. I can't keep this stuff out of her mouth. When we camped in Idaho she would go to someones car/truck and start licking the dirt off the the vehicle. We have tried everything and can't keep dirt out of her mouth. Hopefully she will just grown out of it.
*Loves animals
I know there is so much more but those are just a few things I can think of. She is the funnest little girl and makes me laugh everyday. We are so glad we have her! We love this crazy little girl.
She was spitting on the cake instead of blowing.
Visiting Grandma Ruth:
This is Bradley's Grandma. She just had her 90Th birthday
Camping:
The last few days we were in Idaho we went camping with all the family. It was pretty fun, just really cold. The only pictures that I got where of the kids finding tadpoles. But we did a lot more than just that. Every night Mike (Bradley's brother) would take us out in his truck and look for moose/elk/deer or whatever. Every night we went we saw moose. It was pretty cool, especially since this was my first time seeing moose. We also went hiking and just say around the campfire relaxing. So all in all it was a pretty fun trip.
There they are looking for the tadpoles. The water was so cold!
Sadie warn out after looking for the tadpoles.
Well now I'm up to date. Sorry for such a long post.
